What I did…
So me and Ed left Jason behind to see his girlfriend, Deanna, and we headed to Ko Samet. We got to Ko Samet and started looking for a place to stay. We got dropped off outside some cheap hostels when the next thing I know I have a crazy person running towards me! LAURA!! After a quick hello we found a hut to stay in over the road from the beach and then joined Laura, Jodie and some random Aus/NZ guy who was wasted! We had a few beers and a catch up on the beach while getting the annoying Aus/NZ guy about 8 times in the Game of Life. We all went to get changed for some dinner and met back up for food and more drinks. We all ended up on the beach until around 7am for sunrise. Great night.
Met Sam, Ed and Ross down the beach and had a few beers during the day while soaking up the sun. After the beach we all headed out for dinner and more drinks. Ross got so drunk that he could no longer walk without looking like RoboCop. So Ed decided to give him a fireman’s lift to help him get back to his place. Only he had forgot where he lived and we had no clue either! We hunted around for ages and eventually found his room. Chucked him on his bed and then left him to it. After hitting the beach I decided it was time to go home but did not quite make it. I managed to get right outside the door of the hut, but then fell to sleep on the balcony. It’s a combination lock, not a key entry! Ed came back and woke me up and then got me into bed.
Ed had got up early and taken a day trip to do some snorkeling while I woke up late and hit the beach. Chilled out on the beach for a few hours and Ed came back and met me. He had met some people on his boat and introduced me to them. We all decided to go out for dinner so headed back to get changed. We went a BBQ on the beach which was amazing! I had stingray. After food I had to go for a lie down to rest after the last two days.
In the 4 days I spent on Ko Samet I took ZERO photos… Something I may live to regret… (The two photo’s below are from the harbor on the way to Ko Samet!)
