What I did…
We arrived right outside a guest house and decided we were all going to stay there no matter what. We all got some sleep and then all went exploring on our own. I bumped into Chris and Kash, Kash went to get her eye brows coloured, I wont embarrass her too much but I’ll just say me and Chris were nearly in tears, so was Kash but not in the same way we were! Went to the beach and bumped into everyone else, chilled out on the beach before going to get changed for food. We all went out to eat and then set about getting as many free drinks from bars as possible. We went to Beach Bar Sailing Club which was pretty good, me and Chris were the founding members of Team Baguette and by the end of the night everyone was a part of the “Team” going to get a Baguette at the end of the night… turns out none of us apart from Gena and Lena had one! Me and Chris complained to the boss that the drinks were overpriced, so he gave us both a free bucket! After we all walked Claire back to her Guest House as she could hardly walk Shane realised he lost his camera! Back to Beach Club to try and find it… no sign of it, gutted. Good job he backed up his photos!
Next morning we had a huge shuffle round with rooms as Shane had to leave that night. Irene had my room and me and Marcus shared a different room. Me and Marcus went wake boarding, which I could not do for the life of me, I blamed the hangover! We all went for food and to see Shane off as he was on a tighter time line than us. We all went out for more drinks that night, and of course we tried to get more for free!
We paid for one large Siagon Beer for 30,000 Dong (One English Pound) and got another beer for free, 4 shots for free and a Mojito each for free! Not bad for a pound! Few of us ended up in Beach Club again, dancing around like morons!
We all hired bikes and headed out to find some local sights. Went around a ruined temple then got lost trying to find the Hot Springs. Once there we had a very relaxing day! Mud baths, jacuzzi and a pool heated to 34 degrees! HOT! After going for an Indian at Omar’s Jase and Marcus wanted to go beer tasting. We headed down and played a bit of pool before going home to pack our bags for Mui Ne…
