A heart attack on a plate if ever there was one. There is no getting away from it, it’s not healthy in any way shape or form.
A big plate of fries topped with meat, topped with fried onions, topped with either eggs, cheese or both (I would imagine). A very popular dish with the Chilean locals and I.
The best one is the “Mixta” which probably varies slightly but generally is chicken, sausage, pork and then all the toppings of onions, eggs and maybe cheese.
Mastodonte, the restaurant I’ve had my best Chorrillana so far, is a great little place in Valparaiso with a really cool basement to eat out in. You know it’s good for Chorrillana’s when pretty much the whole restaurant are tucking into the same thing!
